‘Badges of Fury’ cannot decide whether it is merely an abysmal spoof of cop films, an action comedy or a gaudy pantomime.

‘Bangkok Assassins’ doesn’t even come close to being the action movie it claims to be, and is in fact an atrocious teen romance that just so happens to feature some very bad fight sequences.

‘Hard Way Out’ is a sloppily cobbled together mess that is littered with awful genre cliches and a collection of very bad actors.

Probably best described as a cliché-ridden mess that is condemned by a combination of a poor script, bad casting and laughable action.

On paper, this looked a winner: Yuen Biao in an Indiana Jones role fighting an assortment of villains in search of an ancient relic. On celluloid though, this is a grand turkey.

The brief scenes that actually feature Lee’s original ‘Game Of Death’ footage only help to condemn the rest of this shambolic mess.

It’s hard to imagine anyone enjoying ‘General Commander’ as it’s such a sorry excuse for an action movie with no real positives to offer.

There is some pontificating about evil and society and love but ‘Grotesque’ is essentially one long torture set piece.

The only reason I can find to recommend it is to see a young Tony Jaa in action, but even this isn’t enough of a reason to sit through all of the surrounding “comedy” sequences.

If there should be any lingering breath in the viewer when watching this, the ubiquitous humorous mahjong scene about forty minutes in should be like a suffocating pillow held over their face.

There really is very little reason to recommend ‘Killers From Beijing’ as it is disappointing on just about every level of competent film-making.

It eats away at you, gradually destroying your will to live and resigning you to a state of futile bewilderment. Please, let me be it’s very last victim.
