‘The Killer of Swordsmen’ (醉刀客 / Drunken Swordsman) is a 2025 Chinese period action drama written and directed by Li Bingyuan.

The film follows a legendary swordsman who returns to an oppressed town, confronts people’s fears and a toxic romance, and wields his blade to end an unjust era. The cast includes Li Bingyuan, Sun Yiran, Lan Manyu, Zhao Jing Shuyu, Li Changhong, and Long Wu.

Synopsis: The legendary swordsman “Cold-Blooded Blade” Han Yueran returns to Bohan Town out of gratitude for a simple act of kindness. He finds the town oppressed by a tyrannical bully. There, he discovers that human frailty and fear surpass the terror of violence itself. His complex bond with Manduoluo becomes a tormenting struggle between love and betrayal. It feels like a poisonous blade piercing the heart. In an era where the powerful lack virtue and the weak lack justice, a single blade must rise. It will shatter the age of submission.
