‘Her Turn’ (即兴谋杀) is a 2025 Chinese crime-mystery thriller directed by Cheng Yanan.

The film follows a partially paralysed woman who returns to her family’s isolated mansion, uncovering sinister secrets and a long-buried revenge waiting to unfold. The cast includes Li Gengxi, Deng Jiajia, Liu Yitie, Huang Xiaoming, and Yue Jiayi.

Synopsis: On a lonely, fog-shrouded island sits the He family estate — a place with a bloody history. After seventeen years away, partially paralysed He Siyi (Li Gengxi) comes back to find her father vanished without a trace. She’s met by a beguiling stepmother (Deng Jiajia), an elegant personal doctor (Huang Xiaoming), a fit young driver (Liu Yitie) and a devoted housekeeper. At first, everything seems ordinary, but odd sounds and the faint whisper of blood betray darker truths.
