‘Mr. Zheng’ (我最特别的朋友) is a 2025 Chinese drama written and directed by Wang Xiaofeng.
The film follows a discouraged middle-aged man and a rootless teenager who form an unlikely bond that is tested when sudden online fame threatens to pull their fragile connection apart. The cast includes Zhang Songwen, Zeng Kelang, Chen Yongsheng, Wang Yueyi, and Jeff Shi.
Synopsis: Lao Zheng, exhausted by life, crosses paths with Liangliang, a boy with nowhere to go. An impulsive act turns him into an unexpected online sensation, and Liangliang becomes the one steady presence beside him. Their unlikely friendship grows through moments of humour and hardship, until rising viral attention pushes Lao toward losing control. As the pressure mounts, the two must confront whether they can still be the light that keeps each other moving forward. [© Far East Films]
