‘Wangmu’s Summer’ (旺姆的夏天) is a 2025 Chinese drama directed by Wanggyal Dandren.

The film follows a widow who, bound by tradition, takes on her late husband’s debts and is slowly pushed to the brink. The cast includes Wangzhuo Cuo and Jiu Ba.

Synopsis: Wangmo, a woman who, after the death of her husband, takes on responsibility for his substantial unpaid debts. Guided by tradition and the belief that unresolved obligations follow a person into the afterlife, she commits herself to repaying what he left behind so that his soul may find peace.
