‘Sugar’ (슈가) is a 2026 South Korean drama written and directed by Choi Sin-Choon.

Based on a true story, the film follows a mother who defies medical and institutional barriers to protect her chronically ill son. The cast includes Choi Ji-Woo, Min Jin-Woong, Ko Dong-Ha, Kim Young-Sung, and Kim Sun-Young.

Synopsis: A devoted mother is forced to confront a new reality when her young son is diagnosed with a lifelong illness that turns everyday routines into high-stakes calculations.
