Blu-ray, DVD & Digital release: ‘Bad City’

Well Go USA are bringing the 2023 Japanese crime thriller ‘Bad City’ (バッドシティ) to US Digital on August 1 and to Blu-ray and DVD on September 19, 2023.

Directed by Kensuke Sonomura, the film revolves around a former police captain who is secretly released from prison to help take down a corrupt businessman. The cast includes Hitoshi Ozawa, Akane Sakanoue, Masanori Mimoto, Lily Franky, and Tak Sakaguchi.

Synopsis: Long plagued by poverty and crime, Kaiko City has been torn apart by rampant corruption and growing violence between the local Yakuza faction and a notorious Korean crime boss. But when a mafia-connected businessman runs for mayor and begins systematically eliminating his opponents, a former police captain imprisoned for a brutal murder is released in a final desperate effort to reclaim the city.
