Blu-ray, DVD & Digital release: ‘Night of the Assassin’

Well Go USA are bringing the 2023 South Korean period action-adventure ‘Night of the Assassin’ (살수 / The Assassin) to US Blu-ray, DVD and Digital on August 8, 2023.

Written and directed by Kwak Jeong-Deok, the film follows a deadly assassin who comes out of retirement to exact revenge on a group waging a brutal campaign of terror against local villagers. The cast includes Shin Hyun-Joon, Lee Moon-Sik, Kim Min-Kyung, Hong Eun-Ki, and Choi Sung-Won.

Synopsis: After a deadly, long-dormant health condition surfaces during a mission, Joseon’s most lethal assassin goes into hiding to seek a cure without revealing his identity. But upon witnessing a ruthless campaign of terror against local villagers, the region’s deadliest killer comes out of retirement in order to exact his own brutal brand of vigilante justice.

‘Night of the Assassin’ will debut exclusively on Hi-YAH! on July 21 and is available for pre-order on all other formats now from Amazon.com.
