Blu-ray, DVD & Digital release: ‘Restart the Earth’

Dazzler Media are bringing the 2021 Chinese sci-fi action-drama ‘Restart the Earth’ (重启地球) to UK Blu-ray, DVD and Digital on May 22, 2023.

Directed by Lin Zhenzhao, the film follows a task force sent on a mission to inject an antidote into the earth’s core after the planet is taken over by plant life. The cast includes He Shengming, Luo Mi, Michelle Ye, Yu Rongguang, Li Ning, Eerdeni Naomen, and Ye Xinyu.

Synopsis: When a drug to replicate plant cells creates a sentient form of flower, the planet is over taken by plant life and humankind is depleted. A Chinese task force, a widowed father and his young daughter fight to survive in a mission to inject an antidote to the core of the plants to reverse their growth.
