Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘A Hero Never Dies’

CN Entertainment are bringing the 1998 Hong Kong action crime drama ‘A Hero Never Dies’ (真心英雄) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on June 20, 2025.

Directed by Johnnie To, the film revolves around the friendship and rivalry between two men in competing Triads in the midst of a gang war. The cast includes Lau Ching-Wan, Leon Lai, Fiona Leung, Yoyo Mung, Lam Suet, and Yuen Bun.

Synopsis: Jack (Leon Lai) and Martin (Lau Ching-Wan) are top lieutenants of rival triads, but the two find they’re not so different when they meet at a bar. Both friends and enemies, Jack and Martin are expected to take each other out. However, after a botched operation, they get betrayed by their bosses, sending them both on the gun-blazing path for revenge.
