Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time’

Anime Limited are bringing the 2021 Japanese animated sci-fi action drama ‘Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time’ (シン・エヴァンゲリオン劇場版𝄇) to UK Blu-ray and DVD on November 20, 2023.

Written and co-directed by Hideaki Anno, the film finds Shinji, Asuka, and Rei searching for refuge in the desolate red remains of Tokyo-3 following the Fourth Impact. The voice cast includes Megumi Ogata, Yuko Miyamura, Megumi Hayashibara, Kotono Mitsuishi, Fumihiko Tachiki, and Maaya Sakamoto.

Synopsis: The fourth and final installment of the Rebuild of Evangelion. Misato and her anti-Nerv group Wille arrive in Paris, a city now red from core-ization. Crew from the flagship Wunder land on a containment tower. They only have 720 seconds to restore the city. When a horde of NERV Evas appear, Mari’s improved Eva Unit 8 must intercept. Meanwhile, Shinji, Asuka, and Rei wander about Japan.
