Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Heroes Shed No Tears’

Panorama are bringing the 1986 Hong Kong war drama ‘Heroes Shed No Tears’ (英雄無淚) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on June 14, 2022.
Written and directed by John Woo, the film revolves around a group of Chinese mercenaries who are hired by the Thai government to capture a powerful drug lord. The cast includes Eddy Ko Hung, Lam Ching-Ying, Ma Ying-Chun, Philllip Loffredo, and Cecile Le Bailly.
Synopsis: The Thai government hires a group of Chinese mercenaries led by Chan Chung to capture a powerful drug lord from the Golden Triangle Area near the Vietnamese border with Laos. The mercenaries manage to capture the drug lord, but his men are trying to set him free. Along the way, the heroes cross into Vietnam and must face a sadistic Vietnamese colonel as well as protect the family of Chang Chung who live in a village near the border.
