Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘My Country, My Parents’

Panorama are bringing the 2021 Chinese anthology movie ‘My Country, My Parents’ (我和我的父辈) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on June 2, 2022.

Directed by Zhang Ziyi, Wu Jing, Xu Zheng, and Shen Teng, the film uses stories centring around family to show various periods throughout Chinese history. The cast includes Zhang Ziyi, Wu Jing, Xu Zheng, Shen Teng, Leo Wu, Song Jia, Zhang Yuqi, Ni Hongjie, Crystal Zhang, and Li Guangjie.

Synopsis: Actress Zhang Ziyi, actor-and-director Wu Jing, comedian Shen Teng, and actor-and-director Xu Zheng come together to direct four short films as part of a new anthology-drama that pays tribute to China’s families, and to describe the hard work, struggles and experiences of serval generations of families through the perspective of “home and country”.
