Blu-ray release: ‘Fearless Hyena Part II’

88 Films are bringing the 1983 Hong Kong martial arts comedy ‘Fearless Hyena Part II’ (龍騰虎躍 / Fearless Hyena 2) to UK Blu-ray on May 20, 2024.

Directed by Chan Chuen, the film tells the tale of two lazy cousins who join forces to avenge the deaths of their fathers. The cast includes Jackie Chan, Austin Wai, Yen Shi-Kwan, Kwan Yung-Moon, James Tien, and Chen Hui-Lou.

Synopsis: A pair of evil kung-fu artists, Heaven and Earth, are slaughtering the entire Yin-Yang brotherhood. After a short chase, two brotherhood members manage to escape separately with their sons. Twenty years later, one of the boys, Chan Lung (Jackie Chan), does little with his days other than hunting frogs and snakes. Meanwhile, Ah Tung (Austin Wai) is so lazy that he uses windmill-driven levers to deliver things to and from his bedside. But when Heaven and Earth return to finish the job on their fathers, Chan and Tung are forced into a fight…
