Donnie Yen to headline ‘Sleeping Dogs’ movie adaptation

Donnie Yen is set to star in a new big screen adaptation of the top-selling Square Enix video game ‘Sleeping Dogs’.

Set in Hong Kong, the game is an open world action-adventure that follows an undercover cop as he attempts to take down the Sun On Yee Triads. It features an abundance of martial arts action sequences that are all suitably over-the-top and seem ideal for an actor like Yen.

‘Sleeping Dogs’ is due to be directed by Neal Moritz and will be produced by Original Film and DJ2 Entertainment.
