Theatrical release: ‘Valley of the Shadow of Death’

Showalker UK are bringing the 2025 Hong Kong crime drama ‘Valley of the Shadow of Death’ (不赦之罪) to UK cinemas from November 14, 2025.

Directed by Antonio Tam and Jeffrey Lam, the film follows a grieving pastor whose faith is tested when his daughter’s killer joins his church. The cast includes Anthony Wong, George Au, Louisa So, Summer Chan, and Sheena Chan.

Synopsis: Pastor Leung (Anthony Wong) has been consumed by grief since his daughter’s brutal assault and suicide. Years later, the young offender Chi Lok (George Au) is released from prison and unexpectedly joins Leung’s church. As their bond deepens, the pastor’s faith faces its ultimate trial: can forgiveness triumph over vengeance, or will old wounds consume them both?
