‘And Yet, You Are So Sweet’ (なのに、千輝くんが甘すぎる。) is a 2023 Japanese romantic drama directed by Takehiko Shinjo.

Based on a manga by Kujira Anan, the film revolves around a girl who is ridiculed after being rejected by her crush but is comforted by the most popular boy in her grade. The cast includes Kyohei Takahashi, Mei Hata, Rihito Itagaki, Riko, and Ryousuke Sota.

Synopsis: After 16-year-old Maaya Kisaragi (Mei Hata) finally decides to confess her feelings to her crush, she is flatly rejected and ridiculed on social media. To make matters worse, the most popular boy in her grade, Sui Chigira (Kyohei Takahashi), overhears her despondent muttering about the whole thing. However, instead of making fun of her, he comforts her and proposes an odd solution to her heartbreak…
