‘Dawn of the Felines’ (牝猫たち) is a 2017 Japanese adult drama written and directed by Kazuya Shiraishi.
Designed as a reboot of the Nikkatsu “Roman Porno” films from the 1970s/80s, the film tells the story of three female escorts who wander the streets of Ikebukuro, Tokyo at night. The cast includes Juri Ihata, Satsuki Maue, Michie, Takuma Otoo, and Tomohiro Kaku.
Synopsis: Masako, Yui, and Rie are three escorts who work the streets of Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Even though they have sex with their male customers, each of the girls still struggle with feelings of loneliness in their everyday lives and attempt to battle their own personal demons.
‘Dawn of the Felines’ opens across Japan on January 14, 2017.
