‘Ex Kills Me’ (里奇不眠夜) is a 2023 Chinese romantic thriller co-written and directed by Allen Ting.

The film revolves around a young woman who takes a temporary job at a hotel, not realising that this single decision will turn her life upside down. The cast includes Gao Yuer, Li Zifeng, Dai Jiaoqian, Zhang Jingjia, and Ji Ning.

Synopsis: Hussie is forced to work in a hotel as a temporary replacement, not realising that this helpless decision will turn her life upside down. The moment she steps into the hotel, the bell rings and the game of death begins. The missing ex-employee, the greedy manager, the selfish doorman, the crazy cleaning lady, and the bloodthirsty ghost in red appear one by one, as if turning over cards of destiny, giving hints of life and death to Hussie. Until she meets Xu Fei, the eccentric tenant she fell in love with at first sight. Is it the law of our universe that love and hate must often go hand in hand? [© Far East Films]
