‘Magical Boy’ (aka ‘The Magical Dou’) is an upcoming Chinese family fantasy film directed by Meng Hui.
Synopsis: 6-year-old Meng firmly believes that his missing father was a great magician, and that he has inherited a portion of his powers. In an effort to try and locate his father, he puts in hours of practice so that he can enter and win a local magic show that he believes holds all the answers to his problems.
‘Magical Boy’ opens across China on January 20, 2017.
