‘Summer Arousal’ (夏天只是一天) is a 2021 Chinese crime drama directed by Li Xiaojiang.
The film follows two police officers who are assigned to track down the person responsible for a series of indecent assaults. The cast includes Li Jiuxiao, Li Meng, Wang Yanhui, Zhang Songwen, and Yuan Fufu.
Synopsis: Summer has just begun and a series of indecent assaults in a small Chinese city have disturbed the residents. Senior police officer Hu (Wang Yanhui) and rookie Xiao Cai (Li Jiuxiao) are put on the case. As the investigation progresses, the secrets hidden by a number of locals are quietly revealed.
