‘The Point Men’ (교섭) is a 2023 South Korean action crime thriller directed by Yim Soonrye.
Based on true events, the film revolves around a diplomat and a National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent who attempt to save Korean hostages kidnapped in the middle east. The cast includes Hwang Jung-Min, Hyun-Bin, Kang Ki-Young, Lee Chun-Moo, and Cha Yu-Joo.
Synopsis: Based on the 2007 South Korean hostage crisis in Afghanistan, a diplomat (Hwang Jung-min) and a NIS agent (Hyun-Bin) must struggle and risk their lives on foreign soil to save Korean hostages that have been abducted in the Middle East.
‘The Point Men’ opens across South Korea on January 18, 2023.
