‘YOLO’ (热辣滚烫) is a 2024 Chinese comedy-drama directed by Jia Ling.

Based on the 2014 Japanese movie ‘100 Yen Love’, the film revolves around a woman who has closed herself off from the outside world but a meeting with a boxing coach sees her life take a drastic turn. The cast includes Jia Ling, Lei Jiayin, Zhang Xiaofei, Yang Zi, Sha Yi, and Qiao Shan.

Synopsis: Le Ying (Jia Ling) has been living at home for years, doing nothing. After graduating from college and working for some time, Le Ying chose to disconnect from society and close her social circle, which she believes is the best way to “reconcile” with herself. One day, by some “tricks” of fate, she decides to live in a different way. In her cautious contact with the outside world, Le Ying befriends boxing coach Hao Kun (Lei Jiayin). When she thinks her life is about to get on the right track, the trials and tribulations that ensue are far beyond her imagination, and her hot life has just begun… [© Far East Films]
