Watch ‘House of Hummingbird’ in Virtual Theatres

Starting this Friday, June 26, you can watch the 2018 South Korean drama ‘House of Hummingbird’ (벌새) from the comfort of your own home while still supporting local theatres impacted by COVID-19 restrictions.

Written and directed by Kim Bo-Ra, the film follows a young girl who explores the city of Seoul in an effort to escape the problems she has at home. The cast includes Park Ji-Hoo, Kim Sae-Byuk, Jung In-Gi, Lee Seung-Yeon, and Park Soo-Yeon.

Synopsis: 14-year-old Eun-hee moves through life like a hummingbird searching for a taste of sweetness wherever she may find it. Ignored by her parents and abused by her brother, she finds her escape by roaming the neighborhood with her best friend, going on adventures, exploring young love and experiencing everything that comes with growing up in a country on the brink of enormous change.
