‘Like A Friend’ (不期而遇的夏天) is a 2021 Chinese drama written and directed by Yi Han.
The film revolves around the unlikely friendship that develops between a street gangster and a young boy. The cast includes Chen Chuang, Guo Kexuan, Lang Yueting, Zhang Lei, Ouyang Zhaodi, and Qin Hailu.
Synopsis: Two lonely and disillusioned people, one a negelected street gangster and the other an ostracized transfer student, become each other’s only friends following a series of incidents. However, life dishes up a whole new set of problems, and when the summer ends so does their friendship. [© Far East Films]
