‘Love Is Hard’ (情圣3) is a 2025 Chinese romantic comedy co-written and directed by Dong Xu.

This third entry in the Qing Sheng (情圣) series centres on a strained marriage undone by a crisis of trust, triggering a fraught battle of wills. The cast includes Xiao Yang, Tan Zhuo, Qiao Shan, Chang Yuan, and Zhang Xiaowan.

Synopsis: A sudden breach of confidence sends an already routine marriage into turmoil. Knocked off balance by a cascade of misunderstandings, a husband and wife resort to increasingly elaborate and ill-judged schemes to salvage their relationship. With the enthusiastic interference of a well-meaning but disruptive friend, romantic stratagems pile up, plans unravel, and a marital impasse erupts into a full-blown, laugh-out-loud battle of the heart. [© Far East Films]
