‘A Forest of Wool and Steel’ (羊と鋼の森) is a 2018 Japanese drama directed by Kojiro Hashimoto.

Based on a novel by Natsu Miyashita, the film follows a high school student who develops a number of new relationships after he starts working as a piano tuner. The cast includes Kento Yamazaki, Tomokazu Miura, Mone Kamishiraishi, Moka Kamishiraishi, and Ryohei Suzuki.

Synopsis: Naoki Tomura (Kento Yamazaki) is a high school student who lives in Hokkaido. He meets piano tuner Soichiro Itadori (Tomokazu Miura) at his school. Naoki could smell the forest from the piano tuned by Soichiro. Naoki is touched by his work and begins to work at the musical instruments store where Soichiro works. Naoki develops relationships with many people related with the piano and he meets Kazune (Mone Kamishiraishi) and Yuni (Moka Kamishiraishi). They are sister pianists and high school students.
