Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Formed Police Unit’

Panorama are bringing the 2024 Chinese action movie ‘Formed Police Unit’ (维和防暴队) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on January 25, 2025.

Directed by Lee Tat-Chiu and based on real events, the film depicts the experiences of a Chinese police squad deployed overseas for UN peacekeeping operations. The cast includes Johnny Huang, Wang Yibo, Elane Zhong, Ou Hao, Zhu Yawen, Jason Gu, and Zhao Huawei.

Synopsis: At the request of the United Nations and dispatched by their country, peacekeeping police officers Yu Weidong (Johnny Huang), Yang Zhen (Wang Yibo) and Ding Hui (Elane Zhong) shoulder the sacred mission and travel to foreign countries to carry out peacekeeping missions in war-torn mission areas.
