Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Legally Declared Dead’

Panorama are bringing the 2020 Hong Kong suspense thriller ‘Legally Declared Dead’ (死因無可疑) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on October 30, 2020.

Directed by Yuen Kim-Wai, the film follows an insurance agent who begins to suspect that one of his clients is responsible for killing his own son. The cast includes Anthony Wong, Karena Lam, Carlos Chan, Kathy Yuen, and Liu Kai-Chi.

Synopsis: Insurance agent Sean (Carlos Chan) is asked to visit clients Tak (Anthony Wong) and Ling (Karena Lam) to follow up on an insurance policy. When he arrives at their home, he sees their son hanging dead. Though the death is declared a suicide, Sean suspects that Tak killed his son for the insurance payout. Determined to bring the culprit to justice, he begins to investigate the case himself, not realizing that his sense of righteousness will be used against him. As Sean moves closer to the truth, he also moves closer to danger – and the darkness in his own heart.
