88 Films are bringing the 1992 Hong Kong action comedy ‘The Inspector Wears Skirts IV’ (’92霸王花與霸王花) to UK Blu-ray on April 22, 2024.
Directed by Wellson Chin, the film finds the Banshee Squad turning to old members for help after they receive the news that they are on the brink of being disbanded. The cast includes Cynthia Khan, Moon Lee, Sandra Ng, Cheng Pak-Lam, Billy Lau, and Kara Hui.
Synopsis: To save the Hong Kong Police Force’s Banshee Squad from becoming defunct, the struggling new squad members seek the help of former officers Amy (Sandra Ng), now a divorced mom with a young kid, and May (Kara Hui), now partially mentally-unstable, to help them with their training regiment, lead by Madame Yang (Cynthia Khan). Their police skills are put to the test when they are ordered to nab a band of brutal thugs in the city.
