Donnie Yen joins the cast of ‘John Wick 4’

Donnie Yen will appear opposite Keanu Reeves in the upcoming fourth entry into the ‘John Wick’ franchise. Directed by Chad Stahelski, the film will see Yen playing an old friend of assassin John Wick, who shares the same history and many of the same enemies.
‘John Wick 4’ is being scripted by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch, and begins production this summer shooting on location in France, Germany and Japan. Alongside Yen, the film will also feature Japanese-British pop superstar Rina Sawayama in a leading role.
“We are very lucky to have Donnie Yen join the franchise,” said Stahelski. “I am looking forward to working with him in this exciting new role.”
