Koei Tecmo announce new ‘Berserk’ game

Koei Tecmo are bringing Kentaro Miura’s ‘Berserk’ back into the video gaming world with a new entry into their Musou (Warriors) series. Entitled ‘Berserk Musou’, the game will follow in the footsteps of previous entries into the series, with the player fighting against huge hordes of enemies across multiple battle arenas.

This is not the first time that the Musou series has been combined with a popular manga/anime. Koei Tecmo has already achieved great success with their ‘One Piece: Pirate Warriors’ games, which adopt a similar hectic fighting style to the bring the adventures of Luffy and friends to life.

‘Berserk Musou’ will be released in Japan on October 27, 2016 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. A Western release is expected to follow later this year.
