‘The Dream, the Bubble and the Shadow’ (誰變走了大佛) is a 2023 Hong Kong suspense drama co-written and directed by Wilson Yip.
The film revolves around a down-on-his-luck magician who befriends a young boy while hiding out on an island. The cast includes Louis Koo, Gordon Lam, Eric Kot, and Cecilia Choi.
Synopsis: Jack (Louis Koo) is a down-on-his-luck magician who is hiding out on an island obsessing over the lawsuit to seek justice for his late wife. When he meets an orphan with autism, Jack promises to fulfil his wish of getting to see the buddha statue walk. [© Far East Films]
