Theatrical release (UK): ‘Have a Nice Day’

The pulse-pumping Chinese animated black comedy ‘Have a Nice Day’ (大世界) opens across UK cinemas from March 23, 2018.

Written and directed by Liu Jian, the film revolves around a young driver working for a gang who steals from his boss to fund his girlfriend’s plastic surgery. The voice cast includes Yang Siming, Cao Kou, Ma Xiaofeng, Zhu Changlong, and Cao Kai.

Synopsis: A hard rain is about to fall on a small town in Southern China. In a desperate attempt to find money to save his fiancée’s failed plastic surgery, Xiao Zhang, a truck driver, steals a bag containing 1 million from his boss. News of the robbery spreads fast within the town and, over the course of one night, everyone starts looking for Xiao Zhang and his money…
