‘Lost Minds’ (失心者) is an upcoming Chinese thriller directed by Chen Weier.
The film revolves around a loving couple who decide to adopt a young girl to appease their family but soon find that their new arrival is not quite the little angel they had been hoping for. The cast includes Joyce Jian, Andrew Lin Hoi, Hui Siu-Hung, Pat Ha, and Kathy Yuen.
Synopsis: Aiqing was an orphan. Growing up she did her best to be perfect.She married a perfect man and they were considered to be the perfect couple. When her husband decided to adopted another orphan girl, this decision triggered many bad memories for Aiqing and slowly pushed her mental state over the edge.
‘Lost Minds’ opens across China on December 23. 2016.
