Although this movie was enjoyable from start to finish, it still lacked something to make it an above average thriller, while the few surprises in store make it unlikely to be viewed more than once.

The idea of an introspective love story may not sound too appealing, but this is the kind of film that truly rewards the patient viewer.

If the more ambitious nature of the production can be ignored and the awkward jingoism put to one side, ‘Mr. Cinema’ can be enjoyed as a well-performed, sometimes captivating film.

Worth a look if you are a fan of the genre, as much of the action hints at the potential on offer when such talented choreographers are available.

Despite some wonderful Jackie moments it proves to be a movie where the need to be ‘cute’ is more important than the desire to entertain.

The great on-screen chemistry of the two leads help this stylish and hugely enjoyable caper move along at a leisurely, but absorbing pace.

‘The Blacksheep Affair’ is an exhilarating action film that firmly puts Vincent Zhao on the map as a possible successor to Jet Li.
