‘The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful’ (신의 한 수: 귀수편) is a 2019 South Korean action crime-thriller directed by Khan Lee.
The film, which is a spin-off of 2014’s ‘The Divine Move’, revolves around a master Go player who loses his teacher and vows to take revenge. The cast includes Kwon Sang-Woo, Kim Hee-Won, Kim Sung-Kyun, Heo Sung-Tae, and Woo Do-Hwan.
Synopsis: Gwi-Soo (Kwon Sang-Woo) loses everything by playing the strategy board game Go. With the help of his Go teacher Heo Il-Do (Kim Sung-Kyun) and teacher Ddong (Kim Hee-Won), Gwi-Soo jumps into the high stakes betting Go game. He goes up against masters from all over the country including Busan Weeds (Heo Sung-Tae), Loner (Woo Do-Hwan), Shaman Jangsung (Won Hyun-Joon) and others.
