Cast Member: Kwon Sang-Woo

This slick looking and battle charged war film doesn’t stray too far from the well worn war movie path but certainly tells an inspiring and conflict heavy tale from the Korean War.

‘Chinese Zodiac’ gives Jackie Chan fans (including me), who had been awaiting its arrival especially eagerly, very little to get excited about.

This is a well acted and written coming-of-age drama with some intense fight scenes. An absorbing and thoroughly enjoyable movie.

‘The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure’ is a big, unapologetic action film that borrows all of the pomp and bombast of its American contemporaries.

While it may often prioritise style over substance, ‘Volcano High’ still emerges as a pretty enjoyable action flick.
