‘Japanese Girls Never Die’ (アズミ・ハルコは行方不明) is a 2016 Japanese drama directed by Daigo Matsui.
Based on the novel ‘Azumi Haruko wa Yukuefumei’ by Mariko Yamauchi, the story focuses on the sudden disappearance of a female office worker. The cast includes Yu Aoi, Mitsuki Takahata, Taiga, Shono Hayama, Huwie Ishizaki, and Akiko Kikuchi.
Synopsis: Haruko Azumi (Yu Aoi) is a 28-year-old woman. She is single and works at an office. One day, she suddenly disappears on a typical street lined with busy stores. After her disappearance, her missing person poster is spread across the city.
‘Japanese Girls Never Die’ opens across Japan on December 3, 2016.
