‘Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!’ (劇場版げきじょうばんポケットモンスター キミにきめた！) is an upcoming Japanese animated adventure directed by Kunihiko Yuyama.
Loosely adapted from the 1997 Pokémon TV anime episode “Pokémon, I Choose You!”, the film follows Ash and his friends as they travel to meet the Legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh at the summit of Mount Tensei. The voice cast includes Rica Matsumoto, Ikue Otani, Unsho Ishizuka, Megumi Hayashibara, Shinichiro Miki, and Inuko Inuyama.
‘Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!’ is due for release across Japan on July 15, 2017.
