Blu-ray & 4K UHD release: ‘Hard Boiled’

Shout! Studios are bringing the 1992 Hong Kong action thriller ‘Hard Boiled’ (辣手神探) to US Blu-ray and 4K UHD on November 4, 2025.
Directed by John Woo, the film follows a tough-as-nails cop who teams up with an undercover agent to shut down a sinister mobster and his crew. The cast includes Chow Yun-Fat, Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, Teresa Mo, Philip Chan, Philip Kwok Chun-Fung, and Anthony Wong.
Synopsis: Hong Kong police inspector “Tequila” Yuen, a tough and determined cop, teams up with an undercover officer to dismantle a ruthless Triad syndicate involved in illegal arms trafficking. As they infiltrate the criminal network, they navigate dangerous encounters with gang members and uncover a web of corruption that threatens to destabilise the city’s law enforcement.
