Blu-ray, DVD & Digital release: ‘The Royal Cat’

Well Go USA are bringing the 2024 Chinese animated action-adventure ‘The Royal Cat’ (金陵御猫) to US Blu-ray, DVD and Digital on October 14, 2025.

Directed by Cao Liang, the film follows a curious young apprentice who teams up with a talking cat to solve two urgent cases: the missing crown prince and townsfolk turning into animals. The voice cast includes Feng Sheng, Ma Zhengyang, Zhang Jie, Zhu Yi, Liu Xiaoyu, and Liu Cong.

Synopsis: In an ancient city full of magic and mystery, a curious young apprentice and a clever, tailless talking cat team up to solve two strange cases: the missing crown prince and townspeople turning into animals! With the Mid-Autumn Festival fast approaching, this unlikely duo must uncover a royal secret and save the day before it’s too late.
