Blu-ray release: ‘Everyday Is Valentine’

CN Entertainment are bringing the 2001 Hong Kong romantic comedy ‘Everyday Is Valentine’ (情迷大話王) to Hong Kong Blu-ray on November 11, 2025.

Written and directed by Wong Jing, the film follows a habitual liar whose deceptions threaten a budding romance, forcing both to confront whether love can survive the truth. The cast includes Leon Lai, Cecilia Cheung, Ng Man-Tat, Kingdom Yuen, Leung Oi, and Cheung Tat-Ming.

Synopsis: When the charming but habitual liar OK Lai (Leon Lai) crosses paths with the earnest and disillusioned Wonderful (Cecilia Cheung), a series of misunderstandings and impersonations ensue — Wonderful mistakenly believes OK is a wealthy heir, and OK, hoping to win her over, plays along. As he steps in to help her in a financial crisis instigated by her father’s debts, genuine feelings begin to surface, but the lie is eventually revealed and Wonderful must decide whether the truth of his affection is enough to forgive his deceptive start.
