Blu-ray, DVD & Digital release: ‘The Captain’

Well Go USA are bringing the 2019 Chinese biographical drama ‘The Captain’ (中国机长) to US Blu-ray, DVD and Digital on March 31, 2020.

Directed by Andrew Lau, the film is based on a real-life incident in which a plane suffered a broken right-hand side cockpit window at 32,000 feet. The cast includes Zhang Hanyu, Oho Ou, Du Jiang, and Yuan Quan.

Synopsis: On the morning of May 14th, 2018, Airbus flight A319 is thrown into a state of panic when the cockpit windshield shatters after takeoff. Cabin temperatures plummet, passengers are losing consciousness, and all communication to control is lost. Heading into an enormous storm with the co-pilot sucked halfway out of the cockpit window, the plane s strong-willed Captain, Liu Chuan Jian, is determined to bring everyone home safely.
