Blu-ray release: ‘Island Of Fire’

88 Films are bringing the 1990 Taiwanese-Hong Kong crime action drama ‘Island Of Fire’ (火燒島) to UK Blu-ray on June 10, 2024.
Directed by Chu Yen-Ping, the film revolves around a cop who goes undercover to infiltrate a deadly prison where a team of mercenaries is being assembled. The cast includes Jackie Chan, Andy Lau, Sammo Hung, Tony Leung Ka-Fai, Tou Chung-Hua, and Jimmy Wang Yu.
Synopsis: Four men of iron face their destinies within the harsh walls of a Taiwanese prison. Steve (Jackie Chan) is a gambler seeking to atone for his sins. Andy (Tony Leung Ka-Fai) is an undercover cop solving a crime. Lee (Andy Lau) is a gangster looking for vengeance. John (Sammo Hung) is a lifer seeking to reunite with his son.
