Blu-ray release: ‘Long Arm Of The Law: Parts I & II’

88 Films are bringing the 1984 Hong Kong crime thriller ‘Long Arm Of The Law’ (省港旗兵) and its sequel to UK and US Blu-ray on September 25, 2023.

Directed by and his brother, Michael Mak respectively, these two movies are packed full of Hong Kong-style action sequences, thrills, and spills, and provide an explosive prelude to what would eventually become a quadrilogy of thrillers.

Long Arm of the Law (1984)
Cast: , , ,
Thugs sneak into Hong Kong to rob a jewellery store, killing a cop during their getaway. They plan another heist while hiding from the police hunting them down to avenge their slain comrade.

Long Arm of the Law II (1987)
Cast: Alex Man, Pauline Wong, Elvis Tsui, Ben Lam
Three Chinese police escaped from Mainland China to Hong Kong. In order to live legally in Hong Kong, they agree to be police informers and fight with those criminals who come from the Mainland.
