Teaser: ‘Mary and the Witch’s Flower’

The first teaser trailer has been released for ‘Mary and the Witch’s Flower’, a new animated feature film from director Hiromasa Yonebayashi (‘When Marnie Was There’).
Based on Mary Stewart’s book ‘The Little Broomstick’, the film tells the story of a young girl who is whisked away to witches school by a magical broomstick but soon discovers that this particular school is using animals in bizarre experiments. The movie marks the debut outing for Studio Ponoc, the anime studio founded by former Studio Ghibli producer Yoshiaki Nishimura.
‘Mary and the Witch’s Flower’ is due for release across Japan in the summer of 2017.
