Watch 12 Japanese independent films online for free!

Japanese Film Festival Magazine has launched a new streaming service called ‘JFF Online’ and it has just collaborated with the Japanese movie competition Moosic Lab to present 12 independent films for viewing free of charge.

The films include 9 features and 3 shorts, and cover a variety of different genres including drama, comedy, horror and fantasy. Many of these films have won awards at Moosic Lab and they include:

• The Sacrament (聖なるもの), 2017 (Director: Isora Iwakiri)
• Girls’ Encounter (少女邂逅), 2017 (Director: Yuka Eda)
• Please Don’t Go Anywhere (なっちゃんはまだ新宿), 2017 (Director: Rin Shuto)
• Rent a Friend (月極オトコトモダチ), 2018 (Director: Mayu Akiyama)
• Moonless Dawn (暁闇), 2018 (Director: Harika Abe)
• Life Finds a Way (普通は走り出す), 2018 (Director: Hirobumi Watanabe)
• Infinite Foundation (無限ファンデーション), 2018 (Director: Akira Ohsaki)
• Wander Life(書くが、まま), 2018 (Director: Naho Kamimura)
• Sayounara (左様なら), 2018 (Director: Yuho Ishibashi)
• Excited Death (ドキ死), 2018 (Director: Kohei Inoue)
• Inner Loop Couple (内回りの二人), 2018 (Director: Taro Shibano)
• Made in Japan (日本製造/メイド・イン・ジャパン),（2018）(Director: Yusaku Matsumoto)
