Action Member: Koichi Sakamoto

If you like martial arts movies and long to see an American outing that does it right for a change, then ‘Drive’ is definitely worthy of your time.

Another one to add to the dust gathering pile of DVD’s – and recommended only for Koichi or Shannon completists.

The action is typically American. Gruner displays a repertoire of 3 different kicks at a less than blistering pace, while his opponents are even less impressive.

What saves this generally poor B-movie from complete obscurity are the numerous well crafted stunt and fight sequences scattered throughout the film.

It’s not Shakespeare. In fact, it’s less articulate than Coolio in ‘China Strike Force’, but you will be impressed with both the moves on display and the pain felt by the stunt team.
