Cast Member: Ron Yuan

A straightforward martial arts film it may be but is all the better for it and features a great cast, blistering fight scenes and proves that sometimes old school is the best school.

If you like martial arts movies and long to see an American outing that does it right for a change, then ‘Drive’ is definitely worthy of your time.

While proceedings do get a little dry and flat on occasion, for the most part this version of ‘Mulan’ is a well-made and entertaining epic that never resorts to heavy-handed storytelling.

‘Ring of Fire’ is a bold attempt at breaking the usual martial arts B-movie mould but unfortunately it proves to be an unsuccessful one.

The film takes a silly concept and knows how to have fun with it, making for an enjoyable action-packed outing that is easy on the brain.

Funny, touching and with kick ass action ‘The Paper Tigers’ is a gem and should be sought out by all fight film fans.
